The PADI Adventure Diver course is a great way to build your scuba skills and gain more confidence underwater. It is a subset of the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course and is perfect for divers who want to try new types of diving but might be short on time.
To earn the Adventure Diver certification, you complete three Adventure Dives of your choice.
Why Take This Course?
If you’ve recently finished your Open Water Diver certification and want to see what else diving has to offer, this course allows you to "sample" different specialties. Each Adventure Dive can also be credited toward the first dive of the corresponding PADI Specialty Diver course or the Advanced Open Water certification.

Course Prerequisites

Certification: PADI Open Water Diver (or qualifying certification from another organization).

Minimum Age: 10 years old (for Junior Adventure Diver) or 12 years old (for certain dives like Deep Diving).
The Next Step
After completing your three dives and becoming an Adventure Diver, you are only two more Adventure Dives away (Deep and Navigation) from earning your full PADI Advanced Open Water Diver rating!
