WHAT WILL YOU LEARN?
The PADI Underwater Navigator Specialty teaches divers how to navigate using a combination of compass techniques and natural references.
During the course, you'll develop skills including:
Using an underwater compass and following bearings.
Estimating distances underwater.
Navigating reciprocal headings and square patterns.
Recognising natural landmarks and maintaining orientation.
Improving awareness and communication with your dive buddy.
These skills are particularly useful when exploring reefs and wrecks around Pattaya and Samae San, where visibility and underwater conditions can vary.
