Sidemount Diver
Discover a New Way to Dive
The PADI Sidemount Diver course introduces you to one of the most comfortable, streamlined, and versatile scuba configurations available today. Instead of carrying a tank on your back, you'll learn to dive with cylinders mounted at your sides, improving balance, flexibility, and access to your equipment.
This 3-day course provides plenty of time to develop your sidemount skills. On the first day, you'll focus on equipment setup and configuration, learning how to properly adjust your harness, cylinders, and weighting system. You'll then spend time in the pool refining basic sidemount techniques, trim, and buoyancy control.
During the following two days, you'll complete four open water training dives, building confidence while practising gas management, regulator switching, propulsion techniques, valve shutdowns, and emergency procedures. By the end of the course, you'll feel comfortable and self-sufficient diving with a sidemount configuration.
Whether you're looking for greater comfort, redundancy, or preparing for more advanced diving adventures, the PADI Sidemount Diver course offers an exciting new perspective on scuba diving.
