Pattaya's Three Primary Diving Zones
The Near Islands (Koh Larn, Koh Sak, Koh Khrok): Located just minutes off the coast, these sheltered spots feature gentle coral slopes, macro-friendly crevices, and calm bays. They provide ideal conditions for beginner training, Discover Scuba sessions, and refresher dives.
The Far Islands (Koh Rin, Koh Phai, Koh Man Wichai): Sitting approximately 15 kilometers offshore, the Far Islands boast improved visibility, dramatic underwater topography, and pelagic activity. This zone is home to deep reef walls, rocky pinnacles, and the famous decommissioned warship HTMS Khram.
Samae San Marine Park: Situated just south of Pattaya, Samae San delivers pristine hard corals, deeper current dives, and the legendary WWII shipwreck SS Suddhadib (The Hardeep), resting at roughly 30 meters.
