Hardeep Wreck – Samae San
The Hardeep Wreck is one of Thailand's most historic and exciting wreck dives, located among the near islands of Samae San. Originally a cargo vessel sunk during World War II, the wreck now rests on a sandy seabed and has become an artificial reef teeming with marine life.With depths reaching 26 meters and currents that can occasionally be strong, Hardeep is best suited for Advanced Open Water divers and experienced wreck enthusiasts. The wreck's large structure, open sections, and abundant fish life make it a rewarding site for exploration, underwater photography, and adventurous diving.Schools of barracuda, snapper, fusiliers, batfish, and trevallies are commonly seen around the wreck, while nudibranchs, lionfish, and scorpionfish can often be found hiding among the metal framework. Good visibility and dramatic sunbeams penetrating through the wreck create fantastic opportunities for wide-angle photography.
